Navigating tight spaces in a wheelchair can be particularly challenging when using a bulky power add-on. Narrow lifts, cramped cafes, and crowded environments can make outings exhausting and difficult to manage. The newly launched Empulse R90, now available in the USA and coming soon to Europe, addresses these issues. His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, who has been Patron of the British Paralympic Association since 2003, visited Leckey today as part of his two-day tour of Northern Ireland. Erwin McKee, General Manager of Leckey, Firefly and Sunrise Medical UK Operation, delivered a tour of the Leckey manufacturing facilities where The Duke of Edinburgh also met with the Engineering, Design, Operations, Marketing and Clinical teams behind the development of our innovative paediatric products, seeing first-hand the impact the equipment makes on the lives of children.
