🚨 Exciting Updates from SunSpec Alliance! 🚨 The latest updates to the SunSpec Modbus Specifications are now available for review and comment. These enhancements focus on improving clarity, functionality, and compliance across our Modbus implementations. Key updates include: 🔹 New Detailed Descriptions – Clearer explanations within the SunSpec models to eliminate confusion. 🔹 Standards Field – A new attribute listing mandatory standards for each point, helping you ensure full compliance. 🔹 Addressing Duplicate Points – We've marked and resolved duplicate points in Model 702 to streamline your workflow. 🔹 Expanded Modbus Function Codes – Function code 6 and broadcast mode support for RTU devices are now mandatory. 🔹 Improved Conformance Tests – New exception generation tests and precise read time requirements for better interoperability. 🔹 IEEE 1547 Compliance – A comprehensive new document covering all tests required for IEEE 1547 compliance.
