PR 1050's (mill head removed for transport) that has been loaded up by our own heavy haul division on a Trail King Industries, Inc. trailer. The entire fleet is heading back to our shop in Lakeville, MN where it will be inspected and repaired to 95% of new by our elite staff of mechanics and welders. 🚨Emergency Response Success: AMC's Rapid Repair on I-25🚨 On May 31, 2017, a tanker truck crash on northbound I-25 caused a massive fire, damaging the asphalt up to 3 inches deep and threatening a lengthy road closure. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) turned to Edward Kraemer and Sons, Inc., who called AMC for our expert milling capabilities. 🏗️ Our Response: - Expertise: Using Wirtgen-brand milling equipment, AMC executed precise milling to address the damaged roadway swiftly. - Agility: We quickly reallocated resources and mobilized a 6-person crew to tackle the emergency without disrupting other projects. After a four-hour delay for firefighting and debris removal, AMC milled a 4-inch cut and prepared the road for repaving, completing the task just before midnight. Thanks to our swift action, the southbound lanes reopened by 1:00 a.m., and the northbound lanes by 6:00 a.m.—just in time for rush hour.
