Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a great time to assess your ASC’s cybersecurity program. This includes your IT infrastructure and cybersecurity training for your staff, but one area that’s frequently overlooked is your cyberattack response plan. 📋 Does your ASC have an incident response plan to deal with a breach? ❌ How would your ASC identify a potential cybersecurity breach? 💻 Is your IT team regularly backing up your ASC’s data so it can quickly resume operations after a breach? 🕵️♀️ Does your cyber insurance policy cover cyber negotiators, PR firms, cyber law firms, or other resources to help you navigate a cyber attack? 📞 Should you negotiate with cybercriminals who are holding your data ransom?
