The New Jersey Chapter of SWANA is a voluntary group of professionals dedicated to the advancement of integrated solid waste management that is both environmentally sound and economical. Our members include mayors, public work directors, engineers, scientists, educators and other professionals. New Jersey’s communities will always face the challenge of handling the trash generated by their residents and businesses in a environmentally safe and cost efficient manner. SWANA NJ provides a network of dedicated professionals to promote the exchange of ideas and information leading to the continued improvement of solid waste management for all of our communities.

We were happy to welcome this great team from South Jersey Industries to our annual Spring Conference last week!
Members of the SJI Renewable Energy Ventures team, Pete Morano and John Bechta, attended the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) NJ Spring Conference in Atlantic City last week. The dynamic, 2-day event brought together industry leaders and experts from the waste and recycling industries to discuss current challenges, share industry updates, and explore innovative ideas for the future. Peter Morano, Business Development Relationship Manager, SJI REV, provided an overview of the RNG landscape, growth opportunities, and SJI REV activity across feedstocks.
