The first ever clinical study about the impact of AI in care delivery was just published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine. It found that AI Care makes it possible to deliver high quality care to a broader population, and, in fact, has a positive impact on patient engagement and satisfaction. By using AI to complete clerical tasks, support patient monitoring, and aid decision-making on patient progression, clinicians can dedicate more time to more patients so that everyone can benefit equally from the highest-quality care.

“Sword was a exactly what I needed. I live in a rural area and would have driven 20 miles minimum to go to traditional therapy. With Sword I could do sessions in the comfort of my home, without using gas or planning my whole day around a trip to the next town over. I did my sessions every day and got great feedback, support, encouragement and advice from my therapist. I had a very hard time being off work because of issues being able to see my doctor and get a diagnosis and the reduced income was difficult to work with. Sword allowed me to work towards recovery and stay positive. Once I got back to work being able to set my schedule for therapy was key in continuing therapy because I work second shift. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate this program. It's so easy to get signed up and set up. Being able to track my exercises and see what is truly bothering me and how good or bad I am moving kept me in engaged in the process and aware of what was going on with my injury.” Sword member, Thrive

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 Two weeks ago we announced the Sword Foundation, our philanthropic arm that partners with charitable organizations to bring Sword's solutions to more people who need them. Today we announce the Sword Foundation Horizon Award, a $10k award that celebrates and invests in the most innovative contributions to pain research. Because every significant breakthrough in the field puts us one step closer to a pain-free world. This year we were honored to recognize Christophe Tanguay-Sabourin and colleagues, who developed a prognostic risk score for the development and spread of chronic pain based on non-pain-related variables such as mental health.
