    Featured Case Study: Designing a 24/7, EHR integrated, multilingual caller experience for MemorialCare MemorialCare, which receives nearly 150,000 calls to its patient navigation center every month, required a scalable and cost-effective solution to enhance the caller experience and alleviate the burden on operators. The organization aimed to find a solution that would ensure efficient and personalized interactions for each caller, reflecting their commitment to providing high-quality and innovative patient access to care. The UXR role is crucial in bridging the gap between technology and user satisfaction, providing insights that drive innovation and user-centered design. Ben brings a personal understanding of the challenges patients face when navigating healthcare systems. After major surgery, he discovered a unique hack: by posing as a medical provider instead of a patient in an automated phone system, he immediately found a human to help schedule an appointment. Who knew the secret to speedy healthcare access was just a white lie away? This experience deepened his commitment to improving patient access and eliminating the frustrations of traditional systems.
