What an incredible time we had at #TechItOut2024! Here’s a quick rewind on the highlights that kept us inspired, motivated, and ready to take on the world! Tricia Broderick kicked things off with an unforgettable keynote on resilience, even sharing her journey to nail a "10 seconds away from the wall" handstand! Talk about commitment to personal growth! Danielle Senour took us into the future with her insights on AI, reminding us to shift from focusing on “customer experience” to creating a deeper “human experience.” Thought-provoking, right? From our own Janice Silver and Susie E Tomenchok, we learned the power of taking charge of our careers: to be seen, initiate, and zoom out so we stay on track in creating our own success. Camilla Formica and Michelle Griego shared the magic of storytelling in both our work and daily lives. Michelle inspired us with her thought-provoking question, “Why am I doing this, and why do people care?”—and her specials, The Border Crossed Us and Asian American Pacific Islanders’ Lost History, are must-sees! Elena Ritchie and Raquenel Garcia got us all in on a conversation about guarding our energy and letting go of what’s beyond our control. They reminded us that while we need to understand ourselves, a career isn’t built alone, and that sometimes, “No” really is a complete sentence. Trista Caldwell, MBA, PMP reminded us that there’s always more software development work than time to get it all done. By incorporating a prioritization model, teams can align on agreed outcomes that best support business growth. We closed with a powerful keynote from Dale Wilsher, PCC on Personality, Passion, and Purpose. Her words about purpose being our “why” resonated with everyone, and her insight that “can is the most dangerous word when it comes to authentic personality” was unforgettable. All in all, #TechItOut2024 was everything we could hope for and more. Huge thanks to the organizers and speakers for making it such a memorable experience! #WICT #Denver #WomenInSTEM #Innovation #Syndeo
