Starting October 1st, Twan will embark on a new journey as the CEO of New Origin, a pioneering venture supported by the University of Twente the development agency of East-Netherlands, PhotonDelta and several companies in Twente. He will lead efforts to establish a medium volume foundry for silicon-nitride based photonics, microfluidics, and MEMS.
