Today is World MDS Awareness Day, a global initiative to raise awareness about Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), a rare blood cancer where the bone marrow doesn’t produce enough healthy cells. Its life-impacting symptoms include fatigue, breathlessness, and infections. It's often diagnosed through low blood counts, with bone marrow tests to confirm abnormal cells.
