In the wake of Hurricane Milton, our T-Mobile teams worked as quickly as possible to get our network back to normal. We activated over 600 emergency crew members, field engineers, technicians and others and within 72 hours of EACH hurricane, we were able to restore connectivity for all but 2% of our customers.   Along with our network restoration efforts, we also showed up at Red Cross shelters and distribution points to provide free Wi-Fi, offer device charging and hand out power packs, not only for our customers, but anyone who needed these services.   Our network is fully operating and our Customer Experience Centers and stores are open.   A HUGE thank you to all of our T-Mobile teams who worked tirelessly to keep first responders and communities connected when it mattered most. We know that rebuilding will take time and we'll continue to be there when and where we're needed. https://lnkd.in/gkMQRVMF

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱.   Here’s what we’re doing in preparation for Hurricane Milton: 🚧 Our network has been hardened to withstand anticipated extreme weather conditions along Milton’s projected path. 👷♀️ Our experienced emergency response teams are preparing portable generators and heavy-duty network equipment to provide support when and where needed. 🏛️ We are working with federal and state public safety agencies as well as Florida’s State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) in Tallahassee to identify early prioritization needs immediately following the storm. 🦺 To keep employees safe, we temporarily closed stores and our Customer Experience Center in Milton’s path. 🫶 Our community support team is on standby to deploy relief supplies as conditions allow. 🛰️ T-Mobile and Starlink asked for and received a second Special Temporary Authority (STA) from the FCC to operate our T-Mobile Starlink Direct-to-Cellular service over Hurricane Milton’s projected path. 🤝 We also stand ready to support cross-carrier roaming requests from other wireless providers as needed. My thoughts are with those impacted by Hurricane Helene.   T-Mobile’s network and engineering teams are assessing sites across Helene’s path to identify damage. Overlapping coverage and hardening efforts have helped to keep customers connected where available. We have identified some interruption of service due to commercial power loss and storm-related damage. We are deploying network assets to restore coverage and support first responders and public safety. We’ll continue to monitor the network, partner with local utilities and authorities, and assess more sites as conditions safely allow. Teams will also be on the ground to re-direct antennas that shifted due to wind and refill generators as it is safe to do so.   Additional updates: https://lnkd.in/geMTSh6n
