Founded in 2014, Tachyus is a leader in operational optimization for the oil and gas industry. Aqueon, our waterflood modeling and optimization platform, powered by our proprietary engine Data Physics, has increased production and reduced costs and GHG emissions for operators worldwide. We also recently extended Aqueon for CO2 EOR optimization and is already being used by major operators in the US. In early 2021, Tachyus entered the ESG space with Aurion, a fully integrated software platform that helps GHG intensive industries like oil and gas estimate, forecast, optimize and report GHG emissions and intensity. Since then, we have rapidly established ourselves as a leader in this space with over 20 clients in the US, Middle East and Latin America.

Tachyus’s Aurion platform is designed to be the one-stop-shop for GHG emissions management for GHG intensive industries. Aurion leverages EPA GHGRP Subparts as the underlying engine for emissions calculations. The GHGRP covers emissions from different aspects of GHG intensive industries through several of its subparts and is used to report by over 10000 facilities across many industries. Aurion seamlessly connects to many data sources to automate the calculation of GHG emissions baseline, and extends the EPA models to enable forecasting of future emissions. Additionally Aurion also allows users to create fully custom models and equations for GHG emissions calculations.

Strateon, powered by Data Physics, is the ultimate back allocation tool, combining reservoir physics, machine learning, data assimilation and optimization techniques to supercharge the allocation process. Applicable to both primary and secondary production and injection allocation, Strateon is a fully automated and unbiased process that performs allocation at layer or pattern level and runs with minimum data. In a test case in Argentina, Strateon allocation in a multilayered reservoir was obtained in less than one week; conversely, it took the operator over one year to do a similar allocation using a simulation model.
