Progress is moving full steam ahead at Oakland High School! Over at the historic 1912 building, the third floor is coming together with exterior wall framing, while inside, metal studs are going up. On the second floor, the plywood sheathing is nearly complete, and exterior framing has already begun. The new slab on grade was poured, and the iconic West-facing windows are being beautifully restored and installed. With the roof tear-off underway, the new roof will be up in the next two weeks. By the end of October, the exterior masonry, window installations, and roof will be complete. Meanwhile, the 1957 building is also making big strides. Metal stud framing is progressing inside, with the arrival of door frames paving the way for more interior work. Additionally, right-of-way improvements around the site are set to begin soon, adding to the momentum. #BuildingForAchievement #TPS #OaklandEagles #ThankYouVoters #historicrestoration Design-Build Team: BNBuilders and TCF Architecture, PLLC Checkout more construction updates here: https://lnkd.in/gjWdW5VP

Big things are happening on the Oakland High School historical renovation project! 🏫Workers will soon start adding extra wall layers in the attic, 2nd and 3rd floors in the historical 1912 building,. On level 1, they’re already working on the electrical lines. The outside is getting fixed up as well, with masonry repairs and new window frames. In September, workers will start to pour new concrete. In the 1957 portion of the site, the crew is working on ceiling frames and filling in walls as they prepare to frame the inside walls at the entrances. New concrete is going in, too. It’s all coming together to create an amazing space for our students! #OaklandEagles #BuildingForAchievement #ConstructionUpdate #TPS #ThankYouVoters D/B team: BNBuilders and TCF Architecture, PLLC Follow for more construction updates: https://lnkd.in/gjWdW5VP
