TAKKION TEAMS EARN HIGHEST SAFETY AWARD 🏆 TAKKION legacy brands, RENEW Energy Maintenance and RENEW Energy Electrical, were each recognized with the Award of Honor for outstanding safety performance at the 32nd Annual South Dakota Safety & Health Conference. The South Dakota Safety Council and the Governor’s office partnered to recognize excellence in safety through the Governor’s Safety Awards. TAKKION’s Dustin Jenson, Director of Safety, and Mike Sherman, Sr. Director of Operations and Repair, accepted these awards at the Governor’s Safety Awards Luncheon, where they honored South Dakota’s “best of the best” employers for their outstanding safety efforts. The summer weather at the end of September was a bonus. ☀️😎 TAKKION’s Operations & Repair team in Sioux Falls, SD, enjoyed coming together on Friday afternoon for some “funtivities.” Said “funtivities” included: a remarkable meal (prepared by our very own Natasha B), yard games (not competitive at all), and some fun trivia for prizes (congrats to our victors)! TAKKION's Accounting & Finance departments "excel" at everything they do! The O&R (Operations & Repair) team volunteered their time at Feeding South Dakota, cutting blocks of cheese 🧀 in the clean room to be given to 320 families. They also packed 1,296 backpacks for the children. The BackPack Program ensures that children who rely on school meals do not go hungry over the weekend so they can return to school on Monday ready to learn. "Feeding South Dakota is the state's largest hunger-relief organization, with a mission to end hunger in South Dakota.
