9️⃣ 0️⃣ % will leave within 12 months. If you have taken the time curating your #resume, applying to hundreds of jobs, and interviewing -- then it's time to make a clean break. Accepting the #counteroffer is delaying the inevitable because: ➡ You had to force your employer's hand to get a raise ➡ The money doesn't come with better working conditions, additional support, or address the issue that is making you unhappy ➡ You will need to start your job search process again without any guarantee of receiving new offers ➡ Your employer knows that you are half way out the door Talener. #StaffingSimplified

A candidate in his early 50s was searching for a new job. His objective and compensation expectations were clear and reasonable. But he said he had one additional requirement: he won't entertain any jobs that require tech tests or tech projects. ➡ His reasoning? He comes to the table with 25 years of experience, references, a full #resume, and projects to back up his profile. He isn't giving away is time or solving one of the company's on-going projects for free. #Tech tests or take home projects can be a stressful part of the hiring process. At some point, do you believe that proven experience should override the (often) cumbersome tests that companies require as part of the #interview process? #StaffingSimplified

#Job boards like LinkedIn are a great way to gauge the available talent pool. But in today's tight #tech labor market, they don't guarantee that you'll find the right fit for your company. If you want to find the right employee the first time, empower your #leadership, save time, and even save *money* - consider hiring a #staffing agency to take on your hard-to-fill role. https://lnkd.in/ecEZ5Kpp Curious about the agency process works - drop us a line @ info@talener.com or DM our team directly.

For better or worse, the #gig economy is here to stay. We asked #hiring managers whether they would hire someone with a time-intensive side hustle. Broadly, the answer is yes. Employers are recognizing that many employees not only want, but need to take on projects outside of work. How do you handle these conversations with prospective employees? 💠 Direct conversations early and often in the interviewing process 💠 Spell out the core hours and expectations of the job 💠 Invite prospective employees to share their projects and skills. Their expertise might be useful in their new role. #StaffingSimplified

📢 Your #candidate pipeline should always be full. Why? 💠 Your candidate might be interviewing at multiple companies 💠 Your candidate might experience a life changing event 💠 Your #job offer & compensation might not align with their expectations 💠 Because they say... No The #hiring process can be long and expensive - banking on one candidate who is nearing the offer process sets you up for failure. Want to understand what a healthy pipeline looks like at every stage of the hiring process? Drop a line to our CEO Michael Dsupin, who has 2+ decades of experience guiding clients through critical hiring phases. #StaffingBuiltForYou

Stop gatekeeping your #benefits package. If you're holding out on sharing information about your benefits until the 3rd or 4th interview, you're setting yourself up for candidates to turn down your offer. You risk wasting your team's time interviewing someone who can't afford to make the #job change. Benefits can make or break a decision. What should you share? ➡ #401k / Retirement scheme, including match and eligibility information ➡ #Bonus Eligibility, including typical %, payout dates, how it is determined ➡ Time Off, including how much and how it is accrued ➡ Health Benefits, including eligibility, what's included & the cost to the employee ➡ Reviews for additional compensation, including when you do these evaluations ➡Additional important benefits, including RSUs, high value memberships, discounts, or additional compensation opportunities Want to learn more about how benefits can impact your #recruitment strategy? Contact us: info@talener.com for an assessment of your company's hiring process.

...It isn't even close. Nearly 1k candidates responded. Remote work continues to be a top priority for #job seekers. As for those who would consider a hybrid or on-site option? 22% say an additional $15k+ *might* get them to consider your job. Attracting and retaining top talent is difficult, if #remote work is part of your business, *shout it* from the rooftops. 📢
