There's a massive misconception that Talent Beyond Boundaries is a refugee job-matching agency. Job matching is only a tiny fraction of what we do. We're really out to change the system that prevents refugees and forcibly displaced people from accessing labour migration pathways. Watch our CEO, Steph Cousins, explain how.

In collaboration with our partners, we supported the arrival of four skilled workers who were displaced in Jordan re-commence their careers in Northern Ireland. All are now thriving in a supportive environment, eager to grow and embrace new leadership opportunities. TBB is excited to announce that we are convening global leaders to discuss "Scaling Labour Pathways for Refugees: Design-and-Build for the Green Transition." Over the next few days, we’ll be working with government representatives, private sector leaders, UN agencies, and global experts to catalyze integrating refugee talent into the green economy, addressing critical workforce gaps while creating sustainable solutions for displaced workers. TBB is grateful to be partnering with The Rockefeller Foundation and the Bellagio Center to make this important conversations happen. Goals of the convening include: 1️⃣ Design a scalable labour mobility project aligned with the needs of green transition industries. 2️⃣ Develop a strategic roadmap for implementation and funding, for long-term sustainability. 3️⃣ Catalyze collaboration between governments, employers, and development actors to mainstream refugee labour mobility and meaningful employment globally. Stay tuned as we work towards a more sustainable and inclusive future! 🌏

🌟 Celebrating One Year of the UK’s First Alumni Advisory Committee 🌟 We believe in the power of giving displaced talent a voice. Since launching the Alumni Advisory Committee (AAC) in September 2023, we've witnessed firsthand the positive impacts that elevating their voices has had on our alumni community and the delivery of our programmes. The AAC has since: 1️⃣ Addressed Integration Barriers: Provided recommendations to improve support for displaced talent. 2️⃣ Enhanced Community Engagement: Developed initiatives to strengthen alumni participation. 3️⃣ Amplified Voices: Served as ambassadors to raise awareness of displaced talent mobility. 4️⃣ Advocated for Change: Engaged key stakeholders across sectors. Over the past year, the AAC launched TBB’s first Displaced Talent Integration Hub and represented the alumni community at events like the Web Summit. As we plan for the next iteration of the AAC, we reflect on the importance of amplifying alumni voices and fostering collaboration. Stay tuned for more updates as TBB continues to integrate lived experiences into our initiatives. Read more about it here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eTHe734v
