About us
Tamarack Camps, established by the Fresh Air Society, provides enriching Jewish camping experiences for children and families, independent of financial ability, building a vibrant community. Camp Maas, located on 1,250 forested acres and two sparkling lakes in Ortonville, MIchigan, is uniquely designed for children and teens entering 2nd through 11th grades. This program combines wonderful activities with outdoor adventure, Jewish culture and lots of fun. At the Charles N. Agree Outspost Camp and Camp Kennedy, campers entering 9th - 11th grades experience the peaceful serenity of the wilderness, building their own unique community and enjoying the Canadian woods and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Our Imerman Teen Travel Trips are offered to teens entering 10th and 11th grades. Exciting co-ed adventures are enjoyed as teens learn the value of community and personal growth while traveling throughout the Western United States and Alaska. Family Camps at the Butzel Conference Center - Family Camp is a chance to spend quality time together in a setting that combines the beauty of nature and the atmosphere of Shabbat. Outdoor Education - We offer a variety of programs throughout the yearfor corporate groups, school groups, youth groups, family reunions and religious groups.
