About us
Tampa Bay Job Links (TBJL), a program of Gulf Coast JFCS, provides individuals with career guidance and job-search coaching, and provides a variety of workforce development services tailored to the needs of local employers. Professional career strategists work one-on-one and in small groups with a diverse population of job seekers, assisting them through their career transition. They help with career planning, personal brand development, résumé writing, identifying skill gaps, interviewing and networking skills, written communication, and more. TBJL works with recent college graduates, women going back to work after a hiatus, military transitioning to the civilian workforce, boomers displaced during the recession, seniors unable to retire, long-term unemployed – and anyone looking for career transition services. For candidates who are not in immediate financial jeopardy, TBJL offers the same high-quality career development services at competitive rates, so they are affordable for anyone who needs them. TBJL employer services include résumés of qualified prescreened candidates, customized outplacement solutions, and professional development workshops for employees. The mission of TBJL is to empower individuals to attain self-sufficiency through personalized career and job-search coaching, educational programs, and community engagement.
