With the support of the Race and Ethnic Studies Institute’s Interdisciplinary Faculty Seed Grant, a dedicated team of Hispanic graduate and undergraduate students, guided by Dr. Mahua Choudhury, is tackling a critical issue: preeclampsia. This serious pregnancy complication often goes undetected until it's too late, endangering both mothers and babies. The Interdisciplinary Faculty Seed Grant funds pilot projects that address current racial and ethnic social problems. RESI awards multiple grants of $5,000 to $10,000 each.
