We are proud of our state agencies who are answering the call this week to help our fellow Texans, their families, and their animals recover from Hurricane Beryl. A&M System employees are part of more than 2,500 responders deployed by and stationed throughout Texas supporting the state's storm response. We could not be prouder of them!

We welcomed Office of the Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick to the Texas Division of Emergency Management Regional Headquarters and Staging Area at Texas A&M-RELLIS today to give him a firsthand look at how System employees are working to help Texans recover from Hurricane Beryl. We are thankful to state lawmakers for entrusting the A&M System and our state agencies to help our fellow Texans prepare and recover from disasters like Hurricane Beryl.
