Small Business Owners, CEOs, and Founders bring me in when: 1) Transitioning from Family Dynamics – family member working in the business to taking a leadership role. There is a fear of conflicts, strained relationships, and asserting authority while maintaining family harmony. 2) Fear of Failure – feel a significant weight of responsibility to continue the family legacy and fear the possibility of failure. 3) Fear of Being an Impostor: feeling inadequate and doubting their abilities, skills, or qualifications and having internalized the fear of being exposed as a fraud despite evidence of their competence. 4) No Sounding Board: Feeling isolated and lacking support who understands the unique challenges faced by the family, owners, and the business. 5) Unclear Vision, Business Strategy, and Financial Management for Growth – struggle to develop a clear vision for the Future of the business (Strategic Plan), identify growth opportunities, Recruit, Hire, Train, and Lead Talent, and expand the business (scaling operations, diversifying streams, or entering new markets), and lack of knowledge of financial acumen and financial management of a company. 6) Leadership Skills Are Undeveloped—Leadership requires decision-making, team management, conflict resolution, and effective communication. 7) No Planning for the Future – It is time to immediately consider succession planning and exit strategies, develop a plan, address family expectations, and ensure a smooth leadership transition.
