Hawkins currently serves as superintendent in Livingston ISD. The Copperas Cove ISD board is scheduled to vote to hire Hawkins after the 21-day waiting period required by state law.

Lipan ISD Hires New Superintendent On November 20, the Lipan ISD Board of Trustees voted to hire Jimmie Dobbs as the district’s new superintendent. Dobbs most recently served as the interim superintendent at Lipan ISD. He began his career as a teacher in Poolville ISD. Dobbs has also served as principal, interim superintendent, and superintendent at Poolville, and Chico ISDs.

Scurry-Rosser ISD Names Lone Finalist On November 20, the Scurry-Rosser ISD Board of Trustees named Anthony Figueroa as the lone finalist for the position of superintendent. Figueroa currently serves as superintendent in Groesbeck ISD. The Scurry-Rosser ISD board is scheduled to vote to hire Figueroa after the 21-day waiting period required by state law.

White most recently served as the superintendent at Santa Anna ISD. He began his career as a teacher in Douglas County ISD. White has also served as principal, and assistant superintendent, at Odem-Edroy and Perryton ISDs.
