TWT was invited to join Borough of Woodbine Mayor Pikolycky and Borough Council to celebrate the Borough’s recent award of $1 million from the EPA’s brownfields program. At the press event held outside of the subject brownfield site, TWT’s Director of Environmental Geology, Tom Maher, PG, provided a brief history of Woodbine, which was once an industrial hub for Southern New Jersey. US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s Regional Administrator, Lisa F. Garcia, explained that “the EPA is really happy to be able to announce $1 million to help clean up this site. TWT was recently awarded an SUE Level A & B utility mapping contract as part of the planning phase for a new middle school in North Carolina.🦺🚚 Our Charlotte office designated and mapped all utilities and completed 12 Level A test holes on existing utilities in potential conflict with proposed utility tie-ins. TWT’s utility mapping deliverable will inform the engineer of record during the design process. Do you ever wonder how bridges are inspected?🌉 During a recent bridge inspection, TWT staff utilized a temporary scaffold system installed by county maintenance crews to access deteriorated floorbeam connections in need of repair. The scaffold system allowed for a safe, up close inspection to accurately measure and photograph repair areas. The system is installed and removed without any permanent holes or welds in the existing steel members! We recently had the privilege of providing land surveying and civil engineering services in support of an application to the Mt. Laurel Zoning Board for a use variance, signage variance, and site plan approval for an existing 4-story office building located at 250 Century Parkway. Our team worked diligently to ensure the project's success! 🎉 The project includes some incredible improvements to the first-floor space, which will now include three medical/office uses with new entrances and updated ADA parking. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that a proposed catering use by Foodwerx will have a separate entrance to their stunning event space. 🌟 We are immensely proud to highlight our work which was featured in the article below, as well as our employee, michael citerone, who aided 250 Century by providing testimony in front of the Mount Laurel Zoning Board to get the variance request approval.
