About us
Taylor’s is a third generation family owned chain of convenience stores, headquartered in Blair, Nebraska. Founded in the 1950’s, Taylor’s is home to the most genuine people in the convenience store and retail industry. The founder, Jim Taylor, was born and raised on his family’s farm in Orum, Nebraska. Upon completing his Korean War Naval Tour aboard the USS Saint Paul, Jim Taylor started his own tank wagon service called Taylor Oil Company. From then on he began supplying farmers and service shops in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. Today, Taylor Oil Company supplies fuel to and operates 12 Taylor’s Quik Market locations and multiple dealer sites. Taylor’s has shifted from being the typical convenience store to being a “Quik Market” that has your everyday needs. Hometown Pizza, the in-house curated pizza, is in 10 locations to date, as well as burgers, wings, and other grab and go selections. Other well know food offerings include Chester’s Chicken in two locations, Bird Shack Chicken in two locations, and Godfather’s Pizza in one location.
