Big day in Nashville! Started off as a panelist at CREATE: The Future of Foodservice Brunch & Learn. Was the most unique panel I’ve ever been a part of (two truths and a lie, YES/NO paddles, mimosas, stools😬) and one of the most fun. Never imagined we’d fill up almost two hours and probably could have easily gone for two more. Great content from Technomic, Inc. about LTOs (more people want craveable LTOs than unique offerings), flavor trends (Alabama-Style will be a hot trend in 2026😉), healthy trends (less guests now are looking to eat healthy in restaurants) and MUCH more! Enjoyed being with fellow panelists Amy Hom, Scott Taylor, CFE, John Dikos, David Henkes, Heath Nielsen, Robert Byrne, and Matthew Banton. Thanks to Sam Oches, Chris Keating and the rest of the Informa team for a great session and conference. Glad to hear it will be back in Nashville next October! After leaving CREATE, I hopped over to the Music City Center to hear Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe’s founder, Keith Richards give the keynote address at the Disability Employment Awareness Luncheon about our HOPE program. He did a great job and only made me tear up twice with his touching stories. Proud to work for a company that had the vision almost 20 years ago to hire those with disabilities. Working for Taziki’s enhances their lives, but more importantly it benefits everyone else who works and dines there. Our HOPE employees are some of longest-tenured and most-loved. Glad to celebrate that program today!
