REDEFINING sales education: - to amplify the careers and lives of TCU students - by focusing on real-world selling
About us
Skills that translate to every market. According to Harvard Business Review, more than 50% of college graduates will have a career in sales; however, less than 1% of students in the U.S. have formal sales training. At the Sales Center in the TCU Neeley School of Business, we connect students to experienced faculty, partners, and executives who lead in-class educational sessions. Through these relationships, students receive personal coaching and mentoring and, ultimately, prepare for quality careers upon graduation. Our hands-on, consultative approach prepares students for a successful career in sales by using experiential learning that mirrors real-world sales problems, competitions, quotas, and customer prospecting.

📞 📱During TCU Gives Day, our Foundations of Selling students put their sales skills to the test by reaching out to 300+ TCU alumni, parents, and corporate partners through cold calls, pairing a philanthropic spirit with experiential learning. Results? 65 gifts and $50,000+ that will go directly to support sales education at TCU. With phones in hand, they gained practical experience and real-time feedback from Matt Morris, Area President of HUB Fort Worth, and his team—sharpening skills for success. As marketing major Britney Haire noted, “Applying the skills we’ve learned in class makes the curriculum come to life.” Texas Christian University - M.J. 🚨 Limited Role-Play Judging Spots Available! Interest form - https://bit.ly/48LtBEf ⁉ How our competition is different⁉ 1) Prompts are based on profiles of real customers. 2) Students role-play in front of multiple sales professionals/executives as well as their peers. 3) Students have a portfolio of products to choose from (not just one), and there are wrong answers. If the students do not match a solution to the problem at hand, the customer will say no. 4) Sales professionals/executives provide feedback immediately after the role-play. 5) Winners are not chosen based on revenue alone. It's about solving the customer's problem and having a natural, unscripted conversation. 6) Students have had the prompt for a few days, not weeks or months. 7) 🚨🚨These role-plays are designed to prepare students for real meetings they are having.🚨🚨 When: Nov 11, 13, 18, 20 and Dec 9 What: 3 students / room plus audience of ~20 15-20 min role plays followed by feedback.
