  • 🚨🚁𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬🚨🐕 On September 4, 2024, at 9:30 p.m., #teamHCSO’s Aviation, K9, and Patrol teamed up to track down a suspect with felony warrants who fled from a traffic stop. The suspect ran into a heavily wooded area in Plant City, attempting to flee from deputies. However, thanks to the coordinated efforts of our Aviation Section in the sky and K9 Section on the ground, we quickly located him hiding in the thick brush and took him into custody. "Thanks to the outstanding collaboration between our deputies and speciality units, this suspect had nowhere to hide," 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫. "I'm incredibly proud of these teams for their dedication in ensuring justice was served."

  • 🚨𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃🚨 #teamHCSO has arrested the man who fired shots in a road rage incident on August 27, 2024. Rasool Hakeem, 37, admitted to shooting his firearm twice during the incident. "To discharge your firearm at another vehicle is simply reckless and unacceptable," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Despite the challenging circumstances and the lack of initial leads, the Cold Case Unit detectives persevered, determined to bring closure to this case," said Sheriff Chad Chronister.
