🚨𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲🚨 On October 27, 2024, at approximately 10:10 p.m., #teamHCSO’s patrol units were actively searching for a Dodge Charger reported stolen earlier that day. With assistance from our Aviation Section, deputies tracked the stolen vehicle as it headed south on the Veterans Expressway, then continued westbound on I-275, crossing the Howard Frankland Bridge. While under surveillance, the car became stuck in traffic, allowing deputies to arrest the suspects. Dontavious Walton, 14, was charged with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Burglary of an Unoccupied Conveyance, and Zion Boyd, 14, was charged with Trespass in an Unoccupied Structure or Conveyance. “I am proud of our patrol units and Aviation Section for their teamwork in bringing these suspects to justice,” said Sheriff Chronister. “Let this be a clear message: we will not tolerate theft in our community. If you steal, we will track you down and hold you accountable.”
