In early 2022, TEAM worker Maria was a part of three church plants outside a city in southern Ukraine. As the rumblings of a possible invasion by Russia began to circulate through her community, most people didn’t believe this could be possible. Within weeks, the reality of war was undeniable, and the lives of Maria and those she came to serve would never be the same. Today, Maria looks back on the ways that God has continued to show Himself faithful to her work and to the Ukrainian people since that fateful day in February 2022. You have been created with purpose. In today's world, our lives can feel uncertain with so much unrest. However, one thing remains the same no matter what: God. At TEAMtrek, we believe that transformation and impact happen when we look outside of ourselves, and instead look to God and our neighbor. With TEAMtrek, get ready to peel back the layers of cultural barriers so you can see, hear, and love like Jesus. Witness His work around the world and you won’t come back the same. TCK Minute with Emily I am no expert on the TCK experience. The journey can vastly differ from one child to the next, even in the same family. Some of us don’t even like the label or being in a category apart from our non-global-nomad friends and family. I unashamedly admit I have ridden the roller coaster of likes and dislikes with my own story of growing up overseas and returning to my passport country. The research, stories, and discussions around the depth of the TCK experience confirm that these are important conversations for any sending organization to have and continue having. In this article from TCK Training, Lauren Wells discusses seven foundational truths related to TCK care. When you think of TCK care, what do you think of? Or hope and pray for? https://lnkd.in/e-WEEXv7

“I sat on the couch in my apartment, feeling discouraged and confused. I’d been in Prague for more than a year and instead of feeling settled with a sense of purpose, I felt lost. I knew God had called me to Czech Republic to serve, but nothing was going as expected. The ministry and the church where I landed were not a good fit. All my plans for serving in church planting were crumbling...” - Becky, TEAM Czech Change in life is inevitable, and on the mission field, it can be constant. Hear Becky’s story and encouragement for facing the unexpected changes of missionary service. https://lnkd.in/eQbi_jjk
