Help us remove 30M pounds of trash by raising $30M by January 1st. Every $1 is one less pound of trash in the ocean.

About us

#TeamSeas is a global campaign to raise $30M to remove 30M pounds of plastic and trash from our ocean, rivers and beaches. It’s also the second wave of the largest creator-led fundraising campaign to ever hit the internet: #TeamTrees. We launched #TeamTrees in 2019 with a goal of raising $20M to plant 20M trees and we smashed it—raising over $23M and generating more than 1B video views. Now we’re back to rally the internet’s passion and imagination in support of the ocean.

#TeamSeas Co-Founder w. MrBeast | Uniting the world's top creators and causes to drive change

As #TeamSeas continues to celebrate its 2nd birthday, I'm proud to share that our campaign has removed more than 20 million verified pounds of trash and plastic from rivers, beaches and oceans! Just a couple of weeks ago, I had the incredible opportunity to visit one of our project sites in Kingston, Jamaica, where #TeamSeas, The Ocean Cleanup and Clean Harbours Jamaica Limited are working together to intercept trash that's been polluting the seventh-largest natural harbour in the world. I can't convey the full impact of the experience here but before I left we recorded an episode of 'Catching Up' to reflect on the journey to this point, the origins of the campaign with Mark Rober and MrBeast, and how the true legacy of TeamSeas (and of #TeamTrees before it) is the passion it continues to inspire among young people across the planet. A short YouTube clip from our conversation appears below, and you can find the full episode here (or on your favorite podcast platform): https://lnkd.in/d_kV6whx. I'd love to hear your thoughts if you give it a listen.
