#WoodworkingWednesday – Team Tobyhanna’s talented artisans in the System Integration and Support Directorate’s Equipage branch are carving out excellence – one masterpiece at a time! Carpentry experts Kyle Oakley, Brian Reynolds, and Paul Stephanick recently put their talents to the test, building a world-class table for their training and conference space. Aided by Production Engineering’s David Nyzio, the team used the project to bolster their woodworking skills while expanding their abilities through new tasks like the use of a computer numerical control machine. The final product pays tribute to the Armed Forces – specifically the services supported by the Branch’s artisans. Those involved say that the endeavor was an opportunity for self-gratification. “As woodworkers, we appreciate quality and thought it was time to build something great for ourselves,” said Carpentry Leader Kyle Oakley. World-class equipage and woodworking skills are just some of the unique capabilities offered by Tobyhanna Army Depot, where a dynamic workforce ensures C5ISR readiness for joint warfighters worldwide. #TOBY2035 | #C5ISRReadiness | #BeAllYouCanBe

November marks Native American Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the contributions, cultures, and histories of Native Americans. From the earliest days of our nation, Native Americans have stood as proud defenders of freedom, serving with honor and distinction in the United States military. Their legacy is woven into the fabric of our armed forces—from the Navajo Code Talkers whose unbreakable code was key to victory in World War II, to the countless Native Americans who continue to serve today. At Tobyhanna Army Depot, we honor their commitment and sacrifices, recognizing strength and resilience that Native Americans bring to the Army and beyond. Join us this month as we pay tribute to their bravery and reflect on their enduring impact!
