Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society (TFOS)

I am so looking forward to the 2024 Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society (TFOS) meeting in Venice next week!  This is the 10th International Conference on the Tear Film & Ocular Surface: Basic Science and Clinical Relevance. There will be 500+ OSD/DED specialists attending from over 60 countries! There are 14 packed live-presentation sessions, and almost 200 scientific posters! The full program is 52 pages long, and I spent several hours today reading & highlighting all the posters that I am going to visit (full program link in comment below). On Thursday evening, October 31st, TFOS will host a special innovation showcase during our 10th International Conference. Selected startups will have the opportunity to pitch their new concepts & explain how their idea will positively impact the health of the ocular surface. Garner new licensing deals, distribution partners, investors, and opportunities! As Benjamin Sullivan explains: TFOS is very important for startups.
