We were so happy to be part of the SheRoes in STEM event at Thanksgiving Point over International Women's Day weekend! 💜 Katie Kearns Swenson and Brooke Slabbert had a blast hanging out with the kids as they created fool-proof passwords and explored different tech careers—while also sharing the Tech-Moms mission with parents and caregivers. Another successful Data Analytics course! Apoorva Bura gave us a wonderful presentation on how work life balance can be challenging but it is ok to “let go of the Mom guilt, tell yourself you are enough, and that you are strong.” Every Wednesday nights and Saturdays I get to spend my time with these lovely ladies. I love how close we have all already become. Those who study together, stay together-right?! A recap on what we have been up to: ·  We have learned GitHub, advanced excel, Sql, how to create dashboards, that “Alex the Analyst” is the man, Tableau, AI, storytelling with data, etc. etc. ·       Thank you Mina S. for inspiring our Tech-Moms data class with your story. ·       We have toured Health Catalyst and heard from a panel of amazing women: Jieyi Chen, Kylie K., Heather Beagley, Grace Kemp. A special thanks to Heather Metcalfe for all her help. ·       Our Adobe tour was one for the books. I checked off one of my buck list items by getting to go inside. We had a module in Adobe Analytics from Jennifer Werkmeister and our guest speaker was Alison Lutjemeier. Thank you to our amazing instructors Alyson La and Kelsey Taylor for all they do and coordinating these opportunities. We also have amazing coaches Tanya Seegmiller Worthy Lee Marlene P. What a weekend! 📊 The Tech-Moms Data Analytics & AI cohort had the chance to attend an In-Person class generously hosted by Adobe! Such a cool opportunity to tour Adobe’s beautiful location in Lehi. We learned from Jennifer Werkmeister on the uses for and pros of Adobe Analytics. There were many “Ooo’s” and “Ahh’s” for the cool features in their tool. Looking forward to spending some time learning it better via LinkedIn Learning. Thank you! Class wrapped with a very special guest Alison Lutjemeier who shared her career journey and story becoming Adobe’s Director of Customer Feedback Program’s.
