Hi LinkedIn friends! 😊 I volunteer as a coding coach for Tech-Moms 2.0, helping women transition into the tech world through our Data Analytics course 📊. The women learn how to use Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Looker for data analysis and visualization, preparing them for entry-level careers in data analytics. Our cohort is gearing up for their Capstone Project, and we’re looking for businesses or non-profits to partner with! This is a great opportunity for organizations to benefit from data analysis, while supporting these women as they take the next step in their careers. How does it work? -Students will analyze your data for free to provide you with insights, dashboards, or reports to support business decisions. -Your organization gets valuable analysis, whether for an annual report, strategic planning, or ongoing data monitoring. -The project is low-commitment: All students need is your data, a brief conversation to understand your goals, and feedback after they present their findings. Why help? 🌟 Because who doesn’t love free data insights? Let a talented student work their magic on your numbers! You provide the data, and they’ll turn it into something spectacular. Plus, you get actionable insights at no cost. Who doesn't love that?! Dashboards, charts, and insights—oh my! 📊 ✨ Contribute to the professional growth of women entering the tech industry. Collaborate on a meaningful project that can make a real impact on both sides. 🤝 Be a superhero! You get to swoop in and save the day by offering a student real-world experience, while benefiting from fresh perspectives on your data. Win-win, right? 🦸♀️🦸♂️ 🚀 Fuel a future data wizard’s career! By using a Tech-Mom for your analysis, you’re giving these amazing women the chance to practice their new skills and build confidence, while giving your business a data-driven boost. Who knows? You might just meet your future data analytics hire! 😉 If you’re interested in learning more or have a project in mind, please DM me! More about Tech-Moms here: www.tech-moms.org Thank you for your support! 🙌

I've been on an incredible journey learning Data Analytics through the Tech-Moms Data Analytics Program! I'm so thankful to be part of such an amazing group of Tech-Moms, and I couldn't have asked for better teachers than Alyson La and Kelsey Taylor. 🎉 So far throughout this program, I've learned so much: How to clean data and leverage Excel for analysis Writing SQL queries to manage and analyze data effectively Exploring powerful tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize data insights And now, this week we get to choose our own topics to learn—and I can't wait to dive into Python and explore how it can be used for data analysis! I’m feeling grateful, inspired, and ready for the next step in my data analytics journey. 💡✨ #TechMoms #DataAnalytics #LearningJourney #Python #SQL #PowerBI #Tableau #Looker #WomenInTech #Thankful #GrowthMindset #NeverStopLearning

Hats off to Utah’s Women Tech Council for a wonderful afternoon at the Grand America Hotel celebrating Women Tech Awards! 👩🏼💻👩🏻💻👩🏽💻👩🏿💻👩🏾💻 Such an honor to find myself at the Health Catalyst party table front and center with Kylie K., Holly Rimmasch, Becky Vea, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Linda Llewelyn, Sarah Burton, and Jennifer Hansen celebrating the world’s best Data Scientist Jessica Curran as an award finalist and our fearless CEO Dan Burton awarded for a Decade of Impact. It’s not often you get to say you rubbed shoulders with the biggest deals at your company, but today I can! ✨ Congratulations also goes to Trina L. for her award for Decade of Impact! It’s so rewarding to see Tech-Moms shining and spreading their mission far and wide with Mikel Blake, Robbyn Scribner, Andrea Delgado-Manzo and others! I love when my worlds collide and I get to introduce Tech-Moms to the people who are helping me shape my career. So many wonderful people I have looked up to and admired for a long time and I got the chance to meet them in person including Nate Randle, Ambria Johnson, Bubba Page and others. This afternoon really was jam-packed with #TopTechTalent and it was a gift to be among them! #WomenTechAwards #WomenTechCouncil #UtahLFG #WomenInTech

The power of one. 🥇Leads to thousands. Coming down from a wonderful day of recognition and celebration 🎉 with Women Tech Council at their annual Awards luncheon. Yesterdays Impact Award offered a great opportunity to reflect on the years I have engaged with WTC, and the impact this organization has had on my own career. At one of the WTC events around 10 years ago I heard a speaker talk about the “Power of One” and this is when it clicked for me…no one else is going to solve for what you want to solve — it is up to you. So I did. Tech-Moms started 5 years ago. As we now have close to 600 women in our community is fun to watch how each one of our students now are paying it forward and finding their own “Power of One.” ☝️ Congrats to all of this years winners! 🎉 I had one of our attending Tech-Moms lean over and say, “I had no idea we had such incredible women in our state.” Mission accomplished- as WTC’s goal is to create visibility, connection and highlight the value women’s contributions are making. Thank you to all the individuals and leaders involved to make an impact. It is an awe inspiring group of change makers, loved sharing the stage and a shared passion with each of you. #impact #womentechcouncil #powerofone #utah #impactawards #womenintech

🌟 Tech-Mom Tuesday Highlight🌟 We’re excited to introduce Cheryl Brady, one of our newest returners in the Tech-Moms Returnship Program! A dedicated mom of three, ages 11, 9, and 8, Cheryl brings her unique journey to our team. She is from Orem and now resides in Grantsville, where her family loves camping and boating together. Cheryl had been a stay-at-home mom since 2012 and took a leap of faith to return to school in 2017. “I never imagined myself as a ‘techie,’ but after taking my first Intro to Programming class, I discovered my passion for coding,” she shared. Seven years later, Cheryl proudly graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Technology. Cheryl first learned about Tech-Moms from her friend Angie and was inspired by our mission to support moms in tech. “It was perfect timing,” she recalls. With prior experience as an Administrative Assistant, she saw the Salesforce Returnship as an ideal fit for her skills and aspirations. We are grateful to have Cheryl on our team and excited to support her journey toward becoming a certified Salesforce Developer. Welcome, Cheryl! #techmoms #technology #salesforce #womenintech #returnship #developer #appliedtechnology
