Last week we had the pleasure of publicly launching our 2024 Public Benefit Report, which outlines our efforts to improve every level of public service delivery! At our DC office, we had a presentation by Aaron Couch on Nava’s Platform Initiative—which provides #OpenSource templates that accelerate project development—followed by a panel of distinguished guest speakers including: —Patricia Perozo, Digital Services Expert at United States Digital Service —Robert Asaro-Angelo, Commissioner at New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development —Andrew Stettner, Director of the Office of UI Modernization at U.S. Department of Labor —Tara McGuinness, Executive Director of the New Practice Lab at New America We also heard from Nava’s Kira Leadholm, Karen Turner, and Sha Hwang. The Public Benefit Report highlights some of the critical work we’ve accomplished with our government and #CivicTech partners in order to catalyze #HumanCentered change. This year our portfolio is broader than it has ever been, and we have more Nava employees working on modern digital services at every level of government. A huge thank you to everyone who attended the TechCA panel discussion on the CalHHS IT and Data Strategic Plan on September 25th. Thank you again for your great questions and feedback and it was fantastic to see such awesome engagement during the discussion. Adam Dondro shared invaluable insights on how California uses advanced technology and data solutions to transform healthcare and social services. The focus was on a person-centered approach to health and human services translating to a healthy California for all.
