Over the past year, while studying AI and machine learning at the University of Texas at Austin, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly the landscape is changing. Think back to November 2022, when ChatGPT-3.5 made generative AI commercially accessible. In less than two years, AI has transformed businesses, turning companies like Nvidia into trillion-dollar giants and fueling countless billion-dollar startups. So why does this matter to you? Generative AI isn’t just for tech companies — it’s reshaping how we deliver services in every industry. At Schweiger Dermatology Group, I’ve had the privilege of leading AI initiatives that directly enhance patient care, making treatments more personalized and efficient. It’s not just about tech — it’s about real-world impact. The point? AI is no longer a future concept — it’s here, driving innovation, and fundamentally changing how we work and live. And whether you’re in healthcare, marketing, or any other industry, it’s time to embrace this shift or risk being left behind.

https://lnkd.in/eNvMhvKu This past month has been both challenging and productive for the TGS Tech team as we push forward with the development of Apex Engine, with development impacted by the severe hurricanes that hit the southeastern United States. Many of our staff members were directly affected, facing power outages, loss of internet connectivity, and logistical challenges that temporarily slowed down our progress. We are grateful and relieved to report that all of our team members are safe. Throughout these hardships, our team’s resilience and dedication shone through, and we were still able to achieve some major milestones in the past month, including: -80% completion of the development of our shader and render engine. -We have completed the final testing phase of our animation editor. -Valuable feedback from several of our past clients, as well as some new ones, has helped us solidify the direction of our Building Information Modeling features and refine the AI Assist tool. -Our team has completed the Perforce and server structure, setting the stage for the next phase of development. We are also excited to share that TGS Tech has been accepted into the Microsoft Partnership and Founders Hub. This partnership grants us access to valuable resources and tools that will accelerate our development efforts, particularly as we work toward completing the Lite MVP build of Apex Engine. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to push the boundaries of what Apex Engine can achieve! #SoftwareDevelopment #3DAppDevelopment #DevLog #GameEngine #Technology #TGSTech

The advancements in AI and robotics are truly exciting, and Skild AI’s latest development is a perfect example. Their “general purpose brain” for robots is a game-changer, allowing robots to handle all sorts of tasks in different environments. With a $300 million investment backing them, this tech is set to revolutionize how we use AI in our daily lives and workplaces. What’s really fascinating is that Skild’s AI can enable robots to perform tasks they weren’t specifically programmed for, thanks to a massive database of text, images, and videos. This means robots can adapt and learn new skills on the fly, like recovering objects or navigating tricky terrain. It’s like having a super versatile teammate who’s always ready to take on new challenges. This could really change our work-life balance. As AI and robots take over repetitive and physically demanding tasks, we’ll have more time to focus on creative and strategic work – more productivity and job satisfaction for everyone! There are, of course, potential downsides to consider as well, including job displacement and reskilling. We're always looking at how tech can improve our work and help our clients at FIVE x 5. Embracing AI and automation, as we have with our new business intelligence and analytics tool for DISTILL x 5, not only makes us more efficient but also allows our team to do more meaningful and fulfilling work. How do you see AI and robotics changing your industry and work-life balance? https://lnkd.in/gs9ZjGZY #AI #Robotics #Innovation #WorkLifeBalance #FutureOfWork

Lead generation alone won’t solve your clinical research site’s enrollment challenges. To improve the metric that truly matters—randomizations—research sites need more than just leads. Success comes from having the right people, technology, and processes to create a comprehensive patient funnel, guiding every patient interaction from first contact through enrollment. But building these lead management resources internally can be both costly and time-consuming. At C6 | Site Solutions, we fast-track access to these critical elements. With our domain expertise, purpose-built ENGAGE patient recruitment platform, and proven lead management processes, we provide sites with immediate and scalable solutions to enhance recruitment—all within a sustainable pricing model. Discover how we’re empowering research sites to achieve sustainable recruitment success: https://lnkd.in/ega8f3jP. #PatientRecruitment #HealthcareInnovation #ClinicalResearch #Pharma #HealthTech #ClinicalTrials

A/B testing plays a crucial role in developing successful digital campaigns for clinical trial patient recruitment. Here's why: 1. Data-Driven Decisions: To understand which approach works best, you need to run tests with a large enough sample size to ensure statistical significance. By comparing data and making choices based on empirical evidence, you ensure that your decisions are rooted in solid data. While it's labor-intensive initially, applying these insights to the next 10 or 100 campaigns pays dividends in the form of better performance. 📈 2. Cost vs. Performance: The ultimate goal is to improve performance – typically measured by Patient Acquisition Cost (PAC). While ad impressions, click-through rates, engagement, and the like are metrics, in and of themselves, they don't move the needle. Measuring PAC helps you allocate your budget more effectively and maximize ROI. 💲 3. Continuous Improvement: A/B testing is a critical element of engineering continuous improvement into your patient recruitment process. By constantly refining and optimizing your campaigns, you stay ahead of the curve and ensure the best outcomes for your efforts. 👍 Embrace A/B testing to transform your patient recruitment campaigns into finely-tuned recruitment engines! #PatientRecruitment #ABTesting #DigitalMarketing #ContinuousImprovement #ClinicalTrials

NVIDIA has always been at the forefront of gaming and graphics technology, and their new Graphics Delivery Network shows that they aim to do the same with cloud gaming. With GDN, game publishers will be able to stream games built with any 3D engine to almost any device, using the same technology as GeForce NOW. Cloud gaming has always held a lot of promise, enabling weaker platforms like smartphones or tablets to play games that would ordinarily require a more powerful PC. But the technology hasn't quite gotten there in the past: latency is frequently a problem, so performance (and enjoyment) suffer as a result. Having worked with NVIDIA in the past, we here at TGS Tech are hopeful that GDN can help cloud gaming reach it's full potential. That being said, it looks like NVIDIA is primarily pitching GDN as a marketing tool: being able to watch the League of Legends' Worlds Championship, or concerts in Fortnite more smoothly is a definitely a big win, but details are light on how gamers might get to use the technology on their own terms. What will costs end up looking like for end users as opposed to businesses looking to market and promote? We look forward to finding out as more companies start using the technology. #Cloud #Gaming #CloudComputing #SoftwareDevelopment #Technology #TGSTech

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, which devastated Western North Carolina, local distilleries are stepping up to help their communities. With power and water out for weeks, residents are struggling, but craft spirits companies like Oak and Grist Distilling Co. and Chemist Spirits have been providing potable water to those in need. William Goldberg, co-founder of Oak and Grist, shared how they initially supplied hundreds of gallons of water from their reserve tanks to neighbors without access. As their own supplies ran low, Morganton-based Fonta Flora Brewery stepped in to deliver fresh water, helping Oak and Grist continue their efforts. Chemist Spirits has also joined the relief effort, sourcing clean water from South Carolina fire departments and local wells to support the community. Though their downtown Asheville location has reopened, their second site in Biltmore Village was heavily impacted, and repairs are underway. Both distilleries have launched fundraisers to support their staff through the recovery. Purchasing their products online is another way to lend a hand. Let’s rally behind these local businesses as they rebuild and continue to support their communities. Check the comments for links on how you can help by supporting their fundraisers or purchasing their products. Every little bit makes a difference! #SpiritsIndustry #SupportLocal #Fundraising #HurricaneHelene
