Namibia’s energy industry is in its early days, and TechnipFMC established its presence in the capital Windhoek just months ago. We’re committed to making a difference in the communities where we operate, and we’re determined to develop local talent. We are excited to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). This partnership aims to foster collaboration in Engineering, Energy Systems, and Technology through the joint development of courses focused on subsea engineering and project management. Thanks to our partnership with PETROFUND, our first employees in Namibia are already going through training at our services base in Angola. Brice Lacrampette, our Country Manager in Namibia, said: “These are exciting times for the oil and gas industry here, with significant potential for subsea projects. We are #TechnipFMCproud of our team in Le Trait, France, for showing their unwavering support for a colleague with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). By lacing up their running shoes, they raised 10,000 euros to fight against the neurodegenerative disease. Romain Legent, who is living with ALS, stood shoulder-to-shoulder with our team during the event. Organized through our iVolunteer program, 299 of our people completed 4,336 stadium laps. 💜 The money raised goes to ARSLA, a French organization which supports research and patients with the disease. 💪Thank you to our team in Le Trait for making a difference in our communities! #TeamTechnipFMC #EnergyToTransform #ESG
