  • We’re proud to share this insightful piece co-authored by our own Juan Carlos Thomas, TechnoServe's Vice President of Entrepreneurship and New Ventures. In TechnoServe's circular economy work across multiple countries, we've identified key market-wide challenges that hinder adoption, from fragmented supply chains to limited financial products tailored for circular businesses. As highlighted in our "Inclusive Loops" study, circularity reduces waste, unlocks new markets, cuts costs, and create competitive advantages for innovative businesses. The article features inspiring examples like Tamworld Company in Northern Ghana where agricultural waste is being transformed into income opportunities for 65+ people. • Fabiola Rodríguez’s journey is proof that when women have access to training and opportunities, they drive real change. 🍉 Through a TechnoServe Program, she has gone from learning the basics of business to leading operations. • A win-win, those are the kinds of partnerships we look for. By joining forces with The Coca-Cola Company and the Gates Foundation, we helped 54,000 smallholder mango and passion fruit farmers in Kenya and Uganda double their incomes. The results speak volumes: ⚡️ 142% average increase in farmer income ⚡️132,000+ tons of fruit sold ⚡️ Creation of Coca-Cola's first locally-sourced product in Kenya When companies invest in smallholder farmers, entire communities thrive. The farmers gain sustainable livelihoods, processors access quality local ingredients, and companies strengthen their supply chains. This is how we transform agricultural systems: by creating value for everyone involved. https://hubs.li/Q03cdCk70 #EconomicDevelopment #GlobalPartnerships

  • As a digital strategy consultant from Paris, Diego Roudil made a lasting impact on the Greenr Sustainability Accelerator Program in India. He worked with over 15 small and growing businesses (SGBs) focused on sustainability—many led by women—helping them navigate digital transformation. Why India? It’s one of the countries most affected by climate change, making this work even more urgent and impactful. This was part of Diego’s work as a Rachel Hines fellow. From running workshops on lead generation and digital marketing to screening applicants for genuine sustainability commitments, Diego’s work strengthened Greenr’s efforts to support climate-conscious entrepreneurs. Read more about Diego and the other Rachel Hines fellows. Each of their unique projects are making a difference across the world. https://hubs.li/Q03b0YXz0
