In this week’s spotlight, we are highlighting Blair Kenyon, Director of Sales for Consumer Outdoor Products based in Greenville, SC.     Blair is an alumnus of Ohio University, where she completed her Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2013 and joined TTI the following summer.    Blair joined TTI’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) in August 2014 as a Field Sales and Marketing Representative in Detroit, MI. In this role, her relationship management, leadership, and organization set her up for success to have a fruitful career within the organization. Blair was promoted in October 2015 to a Territory Manager position, where she was able to pass along the knowledge she learned in her previous role to a team of Field Sales Representatives. Her passion for the brands and project management led her to relocate to Greenville, SC, and become a Field Sales Operations Manager in January 2017. Settling into her role and the city of Greenville, Blair was able to quickly dominate her role on the Operations Team and transition into an Associate Marketing Manager position for the RYOBI and RIDGID Brands. Blair found her niche in partnering with our brands being sold exclusively in The Home Depot and providing a voice for the products to the end user. With this passion, she was promoted to Consumer Insights Manager in June 2018 where she was able to combine her analytical thought process to enhance the customer experience when purchasing our products. In February 2019, Blair joined the Channel Marketing team as a Channel Manager, where she brought her previous experiences to help drive a strategy to create sales and promotion plans. Her creativity, partnerships, and brand insights led Blair to a National Account Manager promotion in February 2020, Sr. National Account Manager in 2023, and this year, Director of Sales. In her current role, she focuses on communicating directly with The Home Depot and partner to drive our business forward.     With her passion for strategic partnerships, customer experience, and growing results, Blair continues to leverage all previous experience to make a direct impact on our bottom line. In June, TTI’s Florida Office and Team TTI partnered with the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) in Fort Lauderdale, FL to educate the community!   On June 1st, MODS hosted its annual event, The Eye of the Storm, in partnership with the International Hurricane Research Center (IHRC) and Florida International University (FIU). This event focuses on educating attendees about hurricane preparedness. This year, MODS had an incredible turnout of 8,308 people. TTI's Florida Office and Team TTI volunteered by showcasing how our brand’s products contribute to hurricane readiness. Event attendees got hands-on experience with numerous RYOBI tools and participated in a raffle!   On June 20th, our team visited the MODS STEAMology Summer Camp to help provide campers with interactive hands-on learning opportunities. Students ranging from kindergarten to 4th grade participated in the activities which focused on light, gravity, and measurement.   Our gratitude goes out to MODS, IHRC, and FIU for their collaboration and support. In this week’s spotlight, we feature Mathis Newman, Sr. Commercial Financial Analyst at our TTI EMEA Office. Mathis graduated from John Carroll University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. Mathis began his career with TTI in June 2018, when he joined the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). He started the program as a Financial Analyst on the Internal Audit team at our original headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. After five months, he transitioned to Greenville, SC, where he took on a position as a Sr. Operations Financial Analyst. After three years in South Carolina, Mathis embraced an international opportunity and joined our team in London as a Business Analyst in 2021. He has since been promoted to Sr. Commercial Financial Analyst, continuing to thrive and grow within TTI. Mathis’ journey is a testament to both the domestic and global opportunities TTI offers. His commitment to ongoing education and broadening his skill set has enabled him to achieve remarkable growth on an international scale. Mathis shares, "I chose this role because it was a great opportunity to challenge myself in an area of finance that I had yet to gain exposure to. Additionally, the role being an international assignment presented new and immersive experiences abroad, both professionally and personally." Earlier this month, Thirty-Six of Team TTI’s most recently promoted Territory Managers attended management development training in Greenville, SC. During this session, Team TTI’s Leadership, Training, and Recruiting Teams provided our new leaders valuable information ranging from how to exhibit the qualities and actions of a great leader to managing impactful relationships with our retail partners.    TTI believes in continuous and ongoing training and development for our team members. This week, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Erislandy Gonzalez, Sr. Sales Manager based in Greenville, SC.  Erislandy is an alumnus of Florida International University, where he earned his degree in Business Administration. He joined TTI shortly after graduation and has been an integral part of our team ever since. Starting his journey with TTI in December 2019 through the Leadership Development Program (LDP) as a Field Sales & Marketing Representative in Miami, FL, Erislandy quickly demonstrated his potential. He was promoted to Sales Coordinator on the E-Commerce team and moved to our Greenville, SC office. His dedication and enthusiasm in this role led to another promotion to Sales Manager in September 2021. Today, Erislandy is thriving as a Sr. Sales Manager. Erislandy chose the Sales path within TTI because he enjoys the customer-facing aspect of the job. In this week’s spotlight, we highlight James Schaeffer, a Business Analyst at our TTI EMEA Office. James graduated from James Madison University in 2019, majoring in Finance & Business Analytics. After graduating with a solid educational foundation, he embarked on a journey of professional growth and development. James began his career with TTI in 2019 as a member of our Accounting & Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). He initially joined the Fort Lauderdale Office as a Financial Analyst on our Internal Audit team. After gaining valuable experience, James transitioned to the BP&A team approximately one year later. In 2021, James rotated to our South Carolina Office where he began his role as Sr. Financial Analysis II on the Finance Operations team. James demonstrated a high level of commitment to TTI and produced excellent work. As a result, he was offered to join our TTI EMEA Team in the UK. In May of 2023, James relocated and was promoted to Business Analyst, focusing on business processes and risk.  James' career path at TTI reflects his dedication to professional excellence and continuous learning. When asked about his career choices, James shared, "I chose the FLDP career path to gain experience across various financial functions of the business. In doing so, I have had the opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives directly contributing to bottom-line results, to work with incredibly smart and like-minded individuals, and to establish a holistic approach and strategic vision for the business. I’m proud to be a reliable asset for the business, regardless of the role, business unit, or country I am supporting."
