Say hello to our new Assistant Winemaker, Jonathan Walker! Jonathan was born and raised in Kranzburg, South Dakota. After graduating college in Minnesota, he spent a few years as a social worker in North Dakota. Ready to escape the frigid winters, Jonathan and his wife Maria decided to hit the road and explore the country with their Great Pyrenees, Myra. This brought them to Sonoma County where Jonathan worked his first wine harvest. He quickly realized the world of wine is where he belongs. Jonathan moved to Boise in 2022 and worked for another winery here in the Snake River Valley for the past two years, continuing to fall in love with Idaho’s wine industry before joining Telaya. When he is away from the winery, he spends his time camping, fishing, skiing, and playing music. We are thrilled to add him to the Telaya family!

Have you heard of our Sip2Give program? Each member of our team gets to select a non-profit with a mission that's important to them, and every month we host a fundraiser benefitting one of those organizations. This Friday 8/2 we're supporting Heather's group of choice: The BOGUS BASIN SKI EDUCATION FOUNDATION INC (recently renamed Bogus Basin Sports Education Foundation). Come in and drink a glass for a great cause!

Whether you already love Boise, or are still considering destinations, here’s a fantastic article on the City of Trees! Thank you Sarah Kuta and Visit Boise!
Boise was recently featured on TravelPulse in an article written by Sarah Kuta, "Where to Eat, Play and Stay in Boise, Idaho." Make sure to check out the full article below to see all of the cultural offerings, culinary delights, unique hotels, and outdoor recreation that Boise has to offer! "On my first trip to Idaho’s capital last year, I fell hard for this mid-sized city in southwest Idaho. Nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Boise strikes the ideal balance between outdoor adventure and urban amenities—you can hit the hiking trail in the morning, immerse yourself in Basque culture in the afternoon and indulge in a fine-dining meal at a James Beard Award-winning restaurant at night. Boise’s current tourism tagline is “a city you’d want to have a beer with” and, honestly, it fits perfectly. The college town is casual and charming, with a palpable undercurrent of fresh energy and optimism." https://lnkd.in/g79iUUYJ #visitboise #boiseidaho #travelpulse #travel #tourism
