What an incredible start to the 2024-2025 academic year for Temple University International Business Association! In the month of September the IBA welcomed a wave of new members, hosted three inspiring speakers from diverse sectors of international business, got to know one another with an ice cream social event and organized a LinkedIn photoshoot workshop for our members to receive professional headshots! Thank you to Michael Ford, Chelsea Ramage and Benedetta Sirkin, LCB, CCS who generously shared their time to come and speak for our organization about their respective industries and thank you to Daria Saniewska for organizing these events!  A big shout out to Nevaeh Robinson for capturing professional headshots of our members during our LinkedIn photoshoot and of course a huge thank you to our incredible executive board, Vaishnavi Ramchandran, Gabriel Cesare, Adelaide Suchecki, Brooke E. Anderson, Gabrielle Gathers, Tasneem Dohadwala, Dana Persaud, JaQuerra Washington, Matthew Cheskiewicz, Bertrand Guillotin, MBA, DBA who helped make September a huge success for the IBA! Looking forward to another rewarding year! 

On Friday, March 29th, the IBA partnered with the Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) to experience international business at its finest! 🌐🎉 First we went to the S&P Global Office S&P Global office in Lower Manhattan, NYC, received an office tour and heard from Robert Salaki, VP of Sales, Strategic Accounts & Core at S&P Global Market Intelligence. He gave us a company overview, talked about his career journey, and gave exceptional advice to students about how to boost their own personal and professional development.💡🚀 After that, our members took a break, stretched their legs, grabbed lunch, and explored Lower Manhattan for an hour. 🍽️ Finally, we traveled to Robbinsville, New Jersey to check out the fascinating BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir! 🪷🛕Students were given a tour of the 180-acre Temple, marveled at the intricate sculptures, and discovered the symbolism behind the designs within the architecture. Students also visited the gift/book shop, sweet/snack shop, Shayona cafe, and bought anything from incense to mango lassi as a souvenir. At the end, everyone left with a deeper understanding and appreciation for Hindu culture! 😊👍 Thank you to all the students and faculty who joined us on such an amazing trip, for the third semester in a row! We look forward to hosting another next semester! Stay tuned…👀

Each plant will have its own nametag and personality traits brought to you by the IBA's members.
