The third edition of the Occupational Health Conference took place in Buenos Aires and gathered occupational health experts from the Techint Group who shared valuable knowledge and enriching experiences. As awareness grows about the impact of biodiversity and its connection to climate change, we have partnered with Rewilding Argentina to conserve and restore local fauna in various habitats across Argentina, including the Esteros del Iberá reserve in Northeast Argentina, El Impenetrable in the North, and two areas in Patagonia. We are contributing by supplying pipes to build corrals, bridges, and cages to support efforts to reintroduce local fauna such as ocelots, jaguars, giant otters, and several local bird species. "In 2021, we signed a mutual cooperation agreement with Fundación Rewilding, committing to a series of donations totaling 1,800 steel pipes, which together represent about 17 kilometers of pipes for the reintroduction of native species populations," explained Luis Ignacio Grieco, Community Relations Manager at Tenaris Argentina. #sustainability #environment #TenarisInArgentina #biodiversity

BIG NEWS: https://bit.ly/3AIJaAY The first casting of our new furnace equipped with Consteel® technology was successfully completed on August 21 at 10:40 pm in the steelshop of Siderca, our industrial center in Campana, Argentina. This milestone project, developed in collaboration with Techint Engineering & Construction and Tenova, demanded months of working against the clock, overcoming numerous technical and logistical challenges. Congratulations to all the teams involved! With the incorporation of this new furnace, we aim to significantly improve energy efficiency and transform our production process, enhancing operational safety and productivity while reducing CO2 emissions in line with our global decarbonization strategy. #sustainability #industry #environment #decarbonization
