We're thrilled to announce the launch of ‘Regarding the Retractability of Boundaries’, an immersive installation by Liang-Jung Chen featuring Tensator products, now on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum! 🏛️ This captivating piece was curated as part of a series of thought-provoking contemporary installations for London Design Festival (LDF). Inspired by themes of displacement, this installation reimagines physical barriers and challenges how we perceive and interact with boundaries. 🚧 Featuring our signature Tensabarriers®, the installation creates a visually striking grid that pulls and stretches our webbing up two floors for a unique 360° viewing experience that can be interacted with to distort these 3-dimensional boundaries. Unveiled on Friday, 13th September, the launch included a live performance with dancers and music, interpreting the installation’s exploration of boundaries and movement which responded to the themes of boundaries and movement. 🎼 This unique experience is open to the public until Sunday, 13th October at the V&A Museum in South Kensington. Heathrow's TFL Visitor Centre just got a new upgrade with the addition of our eQ™ Single Line Call Forward Solution (SLQ4)! This innovative solution is designed to streamline queues, enhance passenger flow, and eliminate queuing frustrations. It efficiently manages the distribution of waiting customers from the queue to the next available service point on a first-come, first-served basis. The SLQ4 Call Forward System integrates seamlessly with the Tensaguide beams and panels already installed at the visitor centre, creating an efficient single line queue. 🔄👥 The Call Forward system consists of: 📺 Central Display Unit (CDU) – A mounted TV that visually and aurally indicates the next available service position. It can also be used to display advertising to passengers as they wait. 💡 Positional Display Unit (PDU) – Edge-lit acrylic panels are placed above service points and can be customised in a range of different colours. 📲 Call Buttons - When a position call button is activated on a dynamic PDU, the position number flashes and arrows appear on the other PDUs to guide the customer to operator positions.
