When a former Master Sommelier crafts a category redefining luxury tequila, it was only a matter of time until the world began to recognize that the only thing more special than the iconic bottle is the liquid inside. Presenting our first Wine Spectator cover. This has been a goal for our team since we launched—and a goal for co-founder Richard Betts since he started in the wine industry almost 25 years ago. In addition to the cover, the impact of the Komos Foundation is also highlighted, plus a shout for our Añejo Reserva expression (“incredibly smooth and rich without being cloying”). The issue is out on newsstands this week.
