Andy is a first year master's student studying Electrical Engineering at UC San Diego. “My summer internship at Teradyne as a Hardware Engineer on the Signal Delivery Team has been an incredible learning journey so far. I have been working on the design and development of the fanout board for the ETS-800s test system and honing my skills in Cadence Allegro. The Signal Delivery Team has been super welcoming and supportive since day one, and I love being part of such a collaborative environment. I am especially excited to utilize more of the advanced lab equipment down in the lab throughout the summer. This internship has significantly deepened my understanding of the hardware development process and allowed me to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. This internship has so far allowed me to practice my skills in PCB design with Allegro, developing and following test procedures, and using SCPI commands in Python to remotely control test equipment.
