We are thrilled to announce that the TERMINET project has received the Strategic Liaisons award for the Maturity of Results, Presentation, and Exploitation of Outcomes at the EUCloudEdgeIoT Open Continuum Conference held on June 18 at The Claridge in Brussels! Within TERMINET, UBITECH drove the design and development of the TERMINET SDN-enabled vMEC platform, which is designed to natively support distributed #Federated #Learning services across the IoT-to-Edge-to-Core compute continuum. To do so, the platform dynamically provisions application-aware multi-access edge computing (MEC) resource islands in an as-a-service model, while using a fully programmable software-defined networking (#SDN) fabric to form a virtual MEC (vMEC) out of multiple SDN-interconnected MECs. This prestigious award recognizes the exceptional work and groundbreaking achievements of the TERMINET project. These accomplishments are the direct result of the collaborative efforts of all partners of the project consortium who worked tirelessly to deliver outstanding results. TERMINET's security layer relies on attestation, with the Minimal Platform Profile featuring the Attestation Gateway (AG) as middleware. AG simplifies attestation by offering a unified interface for #diverse devices and services, facilitating #secure #datatransmission based on attestation status.
