We celebrated our 10th Anniversary in Tysons Corner on October 10, 2024 with many of our long-time clients, partners and local, state and federal leaders who have supported us over the last decade.   Babur Lateef, Chairman of Prince William County Public Schools, commenced the evening events with warm welcome and congratulations to Terra’s first decade of success. Lateef was followed by Delegate Terry Kilgore who presented a letter from Governor Glenn Youngkin and a commendation from the Virginia House of Delegates. Kilgore was followed by Zach Golden, State Director for U.S. Senator Mark Warner, who presented a letter of recognition from Senator Warner. We were honored to receive additional remarks from Jeff McKay, Chair of the Fairfax County of Supervisors and Juan Pablo Segura, CPA, Chief Deputy Secretary of Commerce and Trade. Babur R. Mian, President and CEO of Terra Constructs concluded the event by sharing his journey over the last 10-years and outlined his vision for the future.    We are also thankful to Senator Saddam Salim (The Office of Senator Saddam Azlan Salim), Senator Jennifer B. Boysko, Delegate Mark Sickles, Supervisor Andres Jimenez and over a hundred other clients, partners and employees for participating in the event. We look forward to carrying out our next ten years with an unwavering focus on excellence and growth within the construction industry.

Terra Constructs is pleased to announce the #promotion of Cynthia “Cyndi” Riley to the position of Controller at Terra Constructs. Since joining Terra in February 2023, Cyndi has elevated the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting department. In her new role, she will take charge of Terra’s financial operations, providing strategic leadership and ensuring the highest standards of fiscal responsibility.

🏆 Exciting News from Terra Constructs! 🏆 We are thrilled to announce that Terra Constructs has been awarded a $7.8 million Design-Build contract by the National Park Service to replace existing government housing units at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, North Carolina. This significant project includes the demolition of 13 outdated housing units and the installation of 12 new pre-engineered homes. The scope of work involves: - Complete design and construction of new homes - Site elements including sidewalks, driveways, patios, and native landscaping - 3 and 4 bedroom units, with 2 meeting ABAAS accessibility standards - Compliance with current hurricane standards for sustainability and safety The project will be executed in two phases to ensure continuous use of half the units during the construction period. Phase one will see the demolition of 7 homes and construction of 6 new ones, followed by the remaining 6 homes in phase two. We are proud to partner with RRMM and WBCM for the design, bringing together expertise and innovation for this transformative project. Completion is expected in 2025. Terra is pleased to welcome Matt Jones as a Project Executive. Mr. Jones will be responsible for our projects in the southeast. With over 30 years of experience in construction, Mr. Jones has excelled in various roles such as Project Manager, Estimator, and Vice President. His achievements include successfully leading complex projects, notably overseeing a $44.5M design-build renovation for the U.S. Navy at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC. His expertise includes meticulous scheduling, budget control, and fostering stakeholder collaboration. In his new role, Mr. Jones will manage Terra’s wide portfolio of infrastructure projects, overseeing strategic planning, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to ensure ongoing client success.
