We hosted the Fourth Annual SEAL Future Foundation Golf Outing on September 23rd. We were fully subscribed this year, which is not something I thought we'd ever accomplish. We've raised about $400,000 in 4 short years which is truly a testament to the outstanding people that keep spreading the word about our unique mission. Freire students recently had the incredible opportunity to job shadow with some of our amazing partners! During their two-week experienceship, they gained exposure to a variety of new skills and professions. They: 🏛️ Worked with Rep. Ben Waxman and his chief of staff, Marisa Shaaban 🏗️ Explored job sites and tackled projects with TCG (Tester Construction Group), led by owner Michael Tester and marketing/social media expert Kim Smith 🏢 Learned from mentors at ACE Mentoring Group, including BRR Architecture , Gilbane Building Company, and O'Donnell & Naccarato . Huge thanks to Ryan Spotts, Mary Beth Gregory, Amanda Kolar, and Brian Rawlings. 🛠️ Gained hands-on experience in different trades at Quantum Restoration Services with Joel Heffelfinger and daily operations insights from Carey Murphy.
