What an honor! At their first-ever Texas Advocacy Awards, Texans For the Arts honored PNC as the “2024 Corporate Champion For The Arts!” We’ve had the pleasure of working w/ Texans For The Arts over the last few years supporting their bi-annual #ArtsAdvocacyDay among other programming. And what a group! Their collaboration with elected officials has led to much success for increased public funding on behalf of arts and culture across the Lonestar State. Special thanks to the dozens of #NTX arts orgs who help #TeamPNC engage in the arts across our region. Your work & this advocacy creates a vibrant community for all of us to live, work, play & stay! The arts feed the soul... and they put food on the table for thousands across Fort Worth!
Fort Worth arts and culture nonprofits drive half-a-billion dollars into Fort Worth's local economy, and they support over 7,000 local jobs each year! When the City of Fort Worth and Tarrant County invest a single dollar into not-for-profit arts businesses like museums, performing ensembles, arts incubators, and creative summer camps, they actually receive more than $6 back in taxes generated by these organizations. These are some of the many findings in the local portion of the national Arts and Economic Prosperity 6 study. Our team at Arts Fort Worth was proud to sponsor and administer this in partnership with Americans for the Arts, and we appreciate all of the volunteers and the 74 participating nonprofits who helped us gather data. We are also grateful to collaborate with the City of Fort Worth and Tarrant County to incentivize, present, and produce programs that fuel our local economy while enriching quality of life in North Texas. You can find a full copy of Fort Worth's portion of the Arts and Economic Prosperity 6 report at https://lnkd.in/gFSKg_wf Thank you Marcheta Fornoff for covering this story and Fort Worth Report for investing time and resources to highlight Fort Worth's local arts ecosystem!

These findings underscore the profound impact of the arts on our mental health, economy, and educational system. Let's advocate for greater support and funding for the arts in Texas!
