The Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) is an Austin-based, statewide, non-profit professional association dedicated to the development of economic and employment opportunities in Texas. The TEDC is a one-stop shop for ideas, information, and influence. We are the largest state association of economic development professionals, volunteers, and elected officials. Our diverse members share a common goal -- bringing new investment and jobs to Texas. We provide information, educational and legislative services to over 800 members representing more than 500 public and private economic development organizations, including more than 350 cities. Our objective is to support the economic growth of Texas and develop strategies that promote a positive business climate in our state.

Tom Manskey, the Director of Economic Development for the Odessa Chamber of Commerce, has been elected to the board of the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) during their meeting held on October 25 in Addison. With three years of dedicated service in his current role, Manskey expresses his gratitude for this opportunity. “The TEDC is the largest state economic development association in the nation,” Manskey remarked in a recent news release. “I am truly honored to be part of an organization that plays a vital role in fostering growth for Odessa and the entire state of Texas.” Read more here ↪️
